Digging Up Civil War History

In commemoration of the sesquicentennial of the beginning of the Civil War, Buckhead Heritage hosted a lecture on the cutting-edge field of battlefield archaeology. Garrett Silliman, an archaeologist with Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc., shared fascinating case studies with approximately 80 guests from his work studying Civil War battlefields of the Atlanta Campaign .
